It’s be awhile since Billy Joel has dazzled fans with new music. About two decades to be exact! The Rock and Roll Hall of Famer announced that he has a new song, ‘Turn the Lights Back On’ set to be released on February 1st. No word on whether he’s working a new album, but you gotta hope it’s not just a few songs he’s toying with. Here’s a sample of ‘Turn the Lights Back On’ he posted on X:

Joel is bringing his historic residency at Madison Square Garden to a close this summer, where he will have performed 150 shows there. Can you imagine what those tickets are gonna go for?! So what then after he leaves the Garden? I don’t see Billy retiring, but I also can’t imagine he’ll have another tour. Perhaps he’ll do a string of shows at The Sphere in Vegas?
