‘Stairway to Heaven’. Easily the biggest, signature song for Led Zeppelin. One that fans have longed to hear Robert Plant perform again. The iconic singer has said he doesn’t like performing the tune anymore for numerous reasons…but he happily obliged during a benefit performance for Duran Duran’s Andy Taylor who’s battling prostate cancer. I kinda get why Plant doesn’t want to play the song anymore. He’s 75 and has performed that song many, many times. His voice isn’t what it used to be. But Robert, who cares?! The hell with the critics who might criticize you. Your FANS want to hear you sing ‘Stairway to Heaven’! We still love you!
