
The Summer Blockbuster movie scene kicked off over the 4th of July holiday weekend and Indiana Jones whipped up a box office win with Indiana Jones and The Dial of Destiny in the number one spot. But Disney isn’t exactly thrilled. They wanted mo. money. It seems Indy wasn’t the treasure they hoped for because the movie took in 60 million opening weekend which was disappointing because IJ Dial of Destiny cost 295 million to make.
They got 40 bucks of my money. I took my mom to see the last ride of the iconic Indiana Jones. There were a lot of fun, nostalgic moments but just not enough grit to comfortably sit through a two-and-a-half-hour movie. Watching this on pay per view at home would have been better. But it’s always fun to go see a new movie on the big screen and somehow the popcorn tastes better.
