Tributes are pouring in for legendary Canadian singer-songwriter Gordon Lightfoot who died on Monday, at the age of 84.
Lightfoot’s music was beloved by fans, and his skills as both a songwriter and singer were admired throughout the industry. I love what Bob Dylan said, ” “I can’t think of any Gordon Lightfoot song I don’t like,” Bob Dylan said, “Every time I hear a song of his, it’s like I wish it would last forever. Agreed! When I was a lifeguard at Racoon Lake just West of Indy, we used to play what we called “Summer Feel Goods” and If You Could Read My Mind Love was always one of those songs you just wanted to hear over and over and over again.
