
Masters of the Universe, Lite-Brite and the top are the latest toys to find their way into the National Toy Hall Of Fame. Officials from the Hall shared the news yesterday that the inductees were chosen from a list of 12 this year. How many of us have (or maybe still have) had these toys when we were kids? I had the Lite-Brite and of course the top. My son has He-Man and Skeltetor (shown above). A quick google search found an original Lite-Brite might sell for around $100. I’d imagine a very old top could go for hundreds, maybe even thousands depending upon it’s uniqueness. Here’s the unveiling from the Strong Museum of Play:
