What. A. Show! George Thorogood & the Destroyers and Sammy Hagar & the Circle took the stage at Ruoff Music Center Wednesday night and blew the crowd away! It was so great seeing all the smiling faces and devil horns. The vibe at this show was one I hadn’t seen in a while. There was ‘something’ about the crowd. The pure joy, laughter and all around happiness that was moving thru the air was something special to see and FEEL. Huge shout out to all our WJJK listeners who stopped by the Live Broadcast to say Hello! We LOVE seeing you ALL!!! We also had the opportunity to upgrade listeners John and Lisa from worst to first! Plucked them right out of the lawn and put ’em in the front row! Those smiles are genuine and man did they have a great time! Right as I snapped the photo of them in front of the stage, that very instant, George Thorogood came out and ripped into his guitar! Perfect!
