A Heat Advisory has been issued for Central Indiana this week with temps topping 90. Add in the humidity and it could feel more like 100+ degrees. Did you know it’s actually an Indianapolis ordinance that requires pet owners to bring their animals inside when conditions are severe outdoors. WRTV reports that the rule states when the temperature is over 90 and or if a heat advisory has been issues, pets cannot be left outside. It goes on to also include shade and fresh water must be available for your pets. Now for most of us, this seems like a given, right?
