Recall Alert: Some JIF Peanut Butter Is Being Recalled Due To Possible Salmonella

Before you make that next PB&J with JIF, better double check the label. J.M. Smucker has announced they’re recalling 45 types of their peanut butter that was sold nationwide. They have lot codes between 1274425 to 2140425. You’ll find that code next to the “best if used by” date on the peanut butter packaging. From J.M. Smucker’s website, they advised the following:

If consumers have products matching the above description in their possession, they should dispose of it immediately.

Consumers who have questions or would like to report adverse reactions should visit www.jif.com/contact-us or call 800-828-9980 Monday through Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM ET.
