Tiger Woods wants to show the world and the sport he loves so much, that he’s back!
The 5 time green jacket winner announced he’ll compete in the 2022 Augusta Masters which starts tomorrow. This will be his 14-month return to competition following a horrific car accident last February. On the golf courses, he was only seen throwing balls in practice or in a parent-child tournament he participated in with his son Charlie last December, using a buggy to get around.
“The way I feel now, I’m going to play. I’ll still play nine holes tomorrow, but I feel good. My team has done a great job.” If Tiger plays, he will be competing in the Masters for the 24th time; in his previous 23 appearances, he has finished in the top five 12 times.
