But Pasadena, Van Halen’s hometown, will be honoring the band by naming a stage after them!
Pasadena is building a new one acre park, which will be named after science-fiction writer Octavia Butler. The park will have lots of open spaces to enjoy, a playground, public restrooms, a parking plaza, a dog run, and a stage for live entertainment.
And that stage will be named after VAN HALEN!
