Bill Murray Gives Surprise Musical Performance In NYC Park

Bill Murray brought his own cheer to chilly Washington Square Park Wednesday with a surprise recital of songs including “I Feel Pretty.” The Oscar winning actor and comedian also  channeled Rita Moreno on “America” from “West Side Story.”

The 71-year-old comedian teamed up with some of his musician friends — with a cello, violin and piano in two for the performance.

Also there were Elizabeth Callender, Jane McGrath and Karen Duffy, the producer of “New Worlds,” Andrew Muscato’s documentary about Murray’s performance at Athens’ Acropolis. Publicity stunt? It is Bill Murray!

The quartet departed suddenly after Murray announced,  “The cops say we have to turn off the microphones. Let’s rip this place apart!”  Let’s all do a sing along! Courtesy: YouTube
