Trisha Yearwood celebrated what would’ve been Betty White’s 100th birthday by raising money for animals in need. Yearwood went live on her podcast on Monday (Jan 17th) where she raised more than $24k within the first 15 minutes of the broadcast. High Paw to those impressive dollar amounts Trisha!

“Who doesn’t love Betty White? We all do and I just think Betty right now is so happy that this is the way that the world is choosing to celebrate her birthday by giving to animals which was so near and dear to her heart. I don’t know who started the Betty White Challenge, but we accepted it,” Yearwood shares.

The award winning singer, talk show host, and author’s goal of $30k has been raised with donations still pouring in. Yearwood and TalkShopLive will each match up to $10k of their own money for the cause. I love Trisha’s passion and big heart when it comes to animals in need. And her husband Garth Brooks is a huge supporter as well. Pawsitively good news.
