Judge Judy’s Bailiff Of 25 Years Claims He Was ‘Priced Out’ Of Her New Show

There’s some new courtroom drama swirling around Judge Judy and not what most fans were expecting from the no nonsense judge.

Judge Judy Sheindlin is one of the highest paid stars on TV. Reportedly banking $47 million a year for “Judge Judy”. But she vacated the bench/throne she held for 25 seasons, to star in a new streaming series “Judy Justice”.  However, she’s going solo. Ouch!

Her sidekick, Petri Hawkins Byrd, who’s served as Sheindlin’s bailiff since “Judge Judy premiered in 1996, says he was not asked to be part of the new show.  He claims Judge Judy told him his salary would have been too much.  Petri says he would have liked the opportunity to accept a lower salary.

Find out why Petri Hawkins Byrd wasn’t able to negotiate a deal here, you won’t believe it. https://www.cnn.com/2021/10/11/entertainment/judge-judy-bailiff-byrd/index.html
