Tina Turner, the Queen of Rock N Roll, is selling her crown jewels — her music.
The 81 year old icon’s music catalog spans six decades, including hits “What’s Love Got to Do With It” and “The Best,” to music company BMG. BMG did not disclose how much the deal was worth, but, according to Forbes, industry sources said the sales figure could be worth $50 million.
Tina has 12 Grammy awards and will be inducted later this month into the Rock N Roll Hall of Fame for the second time. And that’s why she’s “Simply the Best”. Read more about Tina Turner’s biography here: https://www.npr.org/2021/03/27/979683306/tina-turners-life-explored-in-new-documentary
