A video of a Judo Olympian has gone viral recently, but it had nothing to do with her performance in the ring. Martyna Trajdos of Germany had to defend her coach after the video below drew concern and criticism. She’s seen walking to the ring before she competes, pauses, then her coach shakes her by her uniform and slaps her twice! Not surprising, the armchair quarterbacks on social media said it was outrageous and questioned what was happening at the Tokyo Games. Martyna rested those concerns saying SHE actually asked her coach to do that before the match to fire her up. She even went on to say maybe he didn’t hit her hard enough, after losing the match. I’ll admit, at first glance it’s a little shocking. But since Martyna requested it, kind of a dead issue, right? Actually I think Joni and I are gonna start this pre show ritual every morning before we start the Morning Show~
