The lights on Broadway are finally shining bright again after going dim for 15 months during the pandemic. The spotlight was on Bruce Springsteen over the weekend and he did not disappoint his fans! The legendary rocker performed with his wife Patti Sciaifa in front of a packed crowd on Saturday night. Aside from playing some of his classic hits, The Boss opened up to the audience about his DWI arrest in New Jersey. As reported in The New York Post, Springsteen said, ““I was handcuffed and thrown in jail,” he said. “That took some doin’ … I didn’t wake up one morning, get on my motorcycle and say, ‘I’ll go to jail!”. The charges were later dismissed. I’m sure Springsteen realized it’s probably a safe bet if a fan offers him to take a couple of shots in a park in the future, he should just say ‘thanks’ and pass.
