Roger Waters Blasts Mark Zuckerberg And Turns Down A Very Lucrative Facebook Offer

I’m betting Roger Waters and Mark Zuckerberg won’t be Facebook friends anytime soon. The Pink Floyd co-founder was offered “a huge, huge amount of money” for the use of their classic hit, ‘Another Brick In The Wall’ in a film to promote Instagram. As you’ll hear in the video below, Roger wants nothing to do with it (and that’s putting it kindly!). Waters read from the letter he received from the Facebook CEO at an event centering around WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange and his imprisonment over freedom of expression. Zuckerberg got schooled on the fact that money doesn’t buy everything and while he may be one of the most powerful social media titans in the universe, not everyone’s a fan of him.
