Some rare racing memorabilia will go up for auction this weekend, part of the Mari Hulman George Estate. 10 truck loads of historic items were delivered this week to the Vigo Country Fairgrounds where the in person only auction will go down. Supposedly these one of a kind racing items have been in storage for nearly 100 years. Tony Hulman’s racing family has ties to Terre Haute, Indiana where they and Clabber Girl originated from. One of the really cool racing items to be sold is a checkered flag that traveled aboard the space shuttle Atlantis and was signed by all the astronauts on board!
