Leave it to Diamond Dave to continue reinventing himself. He’s released his new song, “Giddy-Up’, which actually stems from a web based comic book, ‘The Roth Project’ that Dave shared with fans last year. Not only did he create this new tune, but yes, he also penned the artwork himself. Not bad! And when I initially heard the song, I wasn’t crazy about it. It starts off a little slow and seems to drag on til the :20 mark. But by :45 the song really starts to kick in and Dave shines. I like it. You can hear his personality coming out as he hoots and hollers. According to Ultimate Classic Rock.com, not exactly sure if ‘Giddy-Up’ will appear on an upcoming album. We keep an eye out.
