We all remember Meatloaf’s 1993 power ballad, “I’d Do Anything For Love (But I Won’t Do That)”. Looks like it’s inspired the singer to help create a new reality TV show where couples will compete against one another. According to Deadline, there will be comedic and sometimes frightening physical games that will help determine the winning couple, who will walk away with cash prizes! I predict this will be a hit, because you’re forcing couples to work together, even through the drama that all couples deal with. It will push the limits, and in typical reality TV fashion, it will probably be “somewhat” scripted to gin up a little extra excitement and viewership. Another bonus is that they hope to weave in a live or at times recorded performance from Meatloaf during the show. No official start date or network, but we’ll keep an eye out with updates to follow soon!
