Tom Petty passed in 2017, but that doesn’t mean we won’t be getting any new music from him. Well, sort of. His estate has released a cool new alternate version of his song, “You Saw Me Comin’”. Smart on their part, because they’re getting fans excited about an upcoming release of ‘Finding Wildflowers’ which will include outtakes, jam versions and alternate takes on that famous Wildflowers session. It’s due out April 16th.
Now “You Saw Me Comin’” didn’t quite make the cut for the 1994 album, so fans can now enjoy not only the cool vibe of Petty but the video that tours various part of the scenic U.S. I think Petty would have approved~
