It’s been about 4 months since the passing of Eddie Van Halen. I would imagine within that time, his son, Wolfgang, has reflected a lot on time with his dad. Wolfie put his emotions on the national stage last Friday appearing on The Today Show, performing his song ‘Distance‘ dedicated to his father. And he knocked it out of the park! Wolf is an incredibly talented musician, but he’s still human. He lost his father and best friend recently and I would imagine that was a pretty tough performance. But it’s been said, music offers healing. Wolfie has said as much, explaining that was the reason he wrote the song. Eddie had to have been smiling down from heaven last week, watching his son carry on with bravery and confidence, while also being very intimate with his audience.
