Like a lot of musicians, John Mellencamp has had extra time during the pandemic to write and create. Take a listen to a preview of one of his new songs, “I Always Lie To Strangers’. According to John’s website, it will be featured on his upcoming 25th album. I like the song because it’s not his usual 80’s or 90’s uptempo sound. Very somber really. And listen to his voice…it’s raw. It fits the song perfectly. John also notes on his website that he has plans to tour not this year, but in 2022 depending upon the pandemic. Fingers crossed.
