For those who were hoping for an early spring, bundle up! The world’s most famous groundhog saw his shadow this morning, predicting 6 more weeks of winter! The now hated rodent was pulled from his burrow in Punxsutawney, Pennsylvania to carry on the tradition which started in 1887. It’s usually a huge celebration (and reason to drink and party) in the tiny town of just 6,000 of Punxsutawney. And thanks to the COVID-19 pandemic, the event was once again halted of spectators. So how often has Phil been correct in his prediction? According to the NOAA, over the last 10 years, he’s been right 50% of the time. So in other words, your family DOG or CAT could have the same luck in getting it right~
