Budweiser Won’t Air A Super Bowl TV Ad This Year, But Created An Inspiring Video Instead

For the first time in 37 years, you won’t see a Budweiser ad in the upcoming Super Bowl. Oh they still want you to buy their beer, but the suds giant thought the money would be better spent raising awareness for the COVID-19 vaccine. Good move, Budweiser. 2021 got off to a rough start and most of us are still holding our breath with hopes that the new vaccine will allow us to turn the corner on the pandemic. And let’s face it, Budweiser is in the business of selling beer. Period. I would imagine their beer sales were down last year, considering concerts and sporting events were cancelled or didn’t allow fans. Of course the beer giant will be fine, but like the rest of us, they’re ready to get back to those public events and enjoy a cold beer or two. Now you will see a couple of Super Bowl ads with other Budweiser products during the game, and even an online ad for Budweiser. Let’s face it, the ad agencies they’ve used in the past have generally knocked it out of the park with memorable commercials. So no worries, we’ll still get to enjoy them.
