Recently I had the opportunity to sit down and talk with Wolfgang Van Halen. He’s had a year filled with highs and lows. Truth be told, probably the lowest with the passing of his father and musical legend, Eddie Van Halen. But the highs have to include his new song, ‘Distance’ and the formation of his new band, Mammoth WVH. Wolf talked with ease about Eddie, especially when I asked what his favorite memory of his dad was. I could tell they had a very special bond. I also asked Wolf if he hadn’t followed in his dad’s footsteps, what other career might he have pursued, to which his answer involved his mother.
Such a talented guy, I wish Wolf all the best, not just for 2021, but for the many possibilities that lie before him in his career and personal life. Yea, I’m a fan~
