The home security company, SimpliSafe came up with a clever way to keep you safe during the holidays: a social distancing sweater. Uncle Eddie gets closer than 6 feet and a built in alarm goes off, along with flashing lights on the front! Genius! However, this was just a prototype (and a way for SimpliSafe to get their name in the news this week) and it’s not really for sale. But I honestly believe they COULD have sold these for $100 each, and would have SOLD OUT! Now SimpliSafe did create and give out these sweaters, which are gone by the way. I’m thinking they’ll be making more, and why not sell them with proceeds benefiting charity? What’s also cool is that for those of you who have a MacGuyver spirit, you can make your own social distancing sweater just by following their instructions, here: CLICK THIS
