If you’re an Elton John super fan, you may think you’ve got all of his albums, which you may have. BUT, Elton is getting ready to release a very cool 8 CD set that will feature 60 unreleased tracks, rare obscurities, all handpicked by the RocketMan himself. Ultimate Classic Rock reports that ‘Elton: Jewel Box’ will be available November 13th. True fans will definitely appreciate some of the deep cuts from the 60’s and 70’s that will be included in this set. Think about that time period when Elton was new on the music scene and had struck pure gold with his writing partner, Bernie Taupin. As Elton pointed out in a press release, “…the songs just poured out of us”. I cannot wait for this set! Early Christmas present for myself~
