Science Says You Should Tell Your Dog You Love Them

If you don’t already tell your dog you love them a million times a day, you should probably start.

In a recent study, dogs were fitted with monitors to find out what increased and decreased their heart rates. Hearing “I Love You” caused a 46% spike and made those tails wag. I tested this but my pitty just wagged her tail whenever I whispered anything into her ear.

Additionally, cuddling decreased heart rate indicating that the activity calmed the pups down, especially during stressful times like storms.

Also, per the article on Chron, humans heart rates increased 10% when they saw their dogs after a day away.
