
You’ve probably played The Beatles’ song, ‘Sun King’ from their classic ‘Abbey Road’ album and didn’t even realize there was secret profanity woven in. McCartney recently confessed in an interview with The Mirror, saying that they were just making up words in the song and didn’t think anyone would realize what it meant. Apparently ‘chica ferdy’ is what kids in the U.K. say instead of saying ‘F-OFF’! My how clever. I’ve taken that phrase for a test spin and it just doesn’t have the same PUNCH that ‘F–K OFF’ has! The F-bomb is powerful, but you obviously couldn’t utter it back in the late ’60s. ‘Chica Ferdy’ on the other hand sounded harmless.
