As we creep our way out of isolation and quarantine from the coronavirus, professional sports are preparing for upcoming seasons. The NFL, in particular, is looking at ways of protecting its players from infection while on the field.

ESPN says NFL engineers are working with existing partner Oakley to create prototypes for helmets and face coverings for players. Coverings could include surgical N95 mask material and they may make the players look a lot different than we’re used to seeing.
