For some, they may not recognize the name Alan Merrill. But it\’s because of his talents that we have the Classic Hit, \’I Love Rock N Roll\’. Sad to report that Alan has died at 69 years of age of the coronavirus. He co-wrote the song back in the 70\’s with a band he played with called The Arrows. In addition to being a gifted musician and songwriter, Alan also was a model and actor. Joan Jett\’s version of \’I Love Rock N Roll\’ made it to the top of the charts back in 1982. This is extremely sad news for Alan\’s family, friends, and the Rock N Roll community. Our thoughts and prayers are with them all~
