Adam Sandler isn\’t trying to make us laugh with his new movie! As a matter of fact he\’s showing off his dramatic acting chops!

Sandler portrays an erratic and obsessive New York jeweler turned gambling conman in the first trailer for  “Uncut Gems,” 

(Punch-Drunk Love excepted) the comedian doesn\’t really lend his celebrity to independent films like this one!
