It\’s always an honor to be a \”warm-up\” band when you\’re starting out….You get to be on tour, with a big name, and expose yourself and your music to thousands of new potential fans.

On the other hand, if you\’re the headliner, and you\’ve got an upcoming act who is really hot, lot of radio airplay, selling a lot of albums….well, you\’re concerned about getting \”blown off stage\”….

And that\’s happened to a lot of bands, I remember Ozzy\’s \”Bark At The Moon\” tour when he had an up and coming band by the name of Motley Crue opening the shows…well, when \”Shout at the Devil\” passed \”Bark at the Moon\” on the Billboard charts, Ozzy was forced to drop the band off the tour.

And this same scenario happened to Journey too…..with AC\\DC….go to ULTIMATE CLASSIC ROCK to see the interview with Steve Perry.
