New Year’s Eve is one of the top 10 deadliest driving days of the year. So, do your part to keep the roads safe by getting a taxi or using a ride share. Stewart & Stewart Attorneys are once again launching their Safe and Sober Program.
If you call a taxi to get home between 10 PM tonight and 3 AM tomorrow morning, you can get reimbursed. Just make sure to save your receipt so you can email it to kevinm@getstewart.com. You can also mail it to: Stewart & Stewart Attorneys, 931 S. Rangeline Road, Carmel, Indiana 46032. The reimbursement is only good to your home, not a bar or other location. Additionally it’s only up to $20, but $20 is better than no dollars.
Additionally, Lyft has teamed up with Downtown Indy to host a Lyft Lounge. It’ll be open at the east block of Georgia Street from 8 p.m. – 4 a.m. Jan. 1. There will be a heated space with restrooms, hot chocolate, entertainment and some giveaways. Plus the first 1,000 riders will get a $10 coupon code (doesn’t say if it’s only for first time riders).
