Our great Indiana State Fair opens this Friday and I’m always curious as to what deep fried food will be introduced. Over the years it’s been the Deep Fried Twinkie…Donut Burger…even Deep Fried Pepsi. But The Texas State Fair has announced some of the most unusual delicacies ahead of their September opening. Here are a few of our favorites:

1.  Fried redneck wedding cake balls.

2.  Fried Texas dirt.  (probably just crushed up Oreos)

3.  Deep fried chicken noodle soup on a stick.

4.  Funnel cake bacon queso burger.

5.  Fat smooth. (no idea what this is, but it’s twisted that they’re trying to play 

6.  Deep fried Froot Loops.

7.  Oreo beer.

8.  Ramen Grasshopper Cookie

9.   Crawfish Lollipop

10.  Pinot Noir Popcorn
