For the last year, maybe the last two years, I have eaten the same thing at 10:00 nearly everyday: yogurt and cottage cheese. And what’s worse is I only eat two flavors: key lime or orange. Am I boring or insane (don’t answer that)? Not really, because a recent survey found that 1 in 6 Americans admit to doing the exact same thing! The survey found that 75% of people have packed the same thing for lunch every day for the last 9 months. But a story on this topic showed the ultimate fan of redundancy…a man in England admitted to eating a ham sandwich and a piece of fruit every day, for the last 20 YEARS! So are we just boring when it comes to lunch? I eat the same thing everyday because I know it’s healthy and a good source of protein. And it’s easy to grab at 3:30 in the morning when I’m half awake and on my way to work. 70% say it’s easier…45% claim it’s cheaper…and 37% say it’s out of habit.
