The original Blair Witch Project came out in 1999. Fans either liked the creative unsteady camera shots or hated them. With a small budget, it actually did very well, raking in nearly $250,000,000 worldwide. A sequel was created later, but bombed. ‘Blair Witch’ was secretly filmed last summer and will be in theaters this September 16th. After watching the trailer below, two things go through my mind: a) this has the potential to be really scary…or b) all of the suspense was crammed into this trailer and it won’t have a strong enough plot and ‘gotcha moments’ to make it a success. Hoping it scares the pants off fans!
