A police source has told the L.A. TIMES that music superstar PRINCE died of an opioid overdose, according to post-mortem tests. The 57-year-old artist was found dead APRIL 21st at his estate in the MINNEAPOLIS area (NET NEWS, 4/21).
Investigators from a variety of law enforcement sources have been looking into the cause of PRINCE’s demise and who was prescribing him the drugs in the weeks preceding his overdose (NET NEWS, 5/5). An official close to the investigation offered the revelations to the paper on condition of anonymity.
