A 30 year old woman was taking an escalator with her child recently at a mall in China, but when she started to step off, a metal panel at the top broke open and she fell in! Luckily she was able to hoist her child up to two other customers who were standing nearby. Unfortunately this story does not have a happy ending…the woman’s body was recovered four hours later.
