The majority of Hollywood stars have stunt doubles who step in to do some pretty dangerous scenes. And when some actors, such as Brad Pitt, have opted to do their own stunts, they can get hurt. Pitt broke his arm while filming a chase scene in the classic suspense flick SEVEN. But Tom Cruise has long been known to insist on doing his own stunts. Even at the age of 53, he takes excellent care of his body, staying in shape for his next action film, Mission: Impossible Rogue Nation. In once scene, Cruise’s character is hanging onto the side of a plane as it takes off. He wanted to do the scene, and even admitted he couldn’t sleep the night before (do ya’ blame him?)! Even though he’s strapped to the plane with a cable, he’s literally clinging onto a large metal object as it races into the sky! 53 isn’t that old, but let’s face facts, your body can withstand more physical demands at say, 21 years of age! So props to Mr. Cruise for being as real as it gets!
