What could possibly go wrong with trying to catch a fly foul baseball, while holding your 7 month hold baby? Cubs fan Keith Hartley needs to pick up the CLUE PHONE, because it’s ringing! He states, “I made sure I protected him (his baby) and I stood up and it kind of just fell into my hand”. This could have ended really, really bad with Keith either a) dropping his baby while trying to secure the catch, or b) the ball hitting the baby. Okay, you’re probably saying, “Greg, you’re over reacting a bit”. Perhaps, but consider that Keith DID interfere with the game, by reaching into the area of play on the field to snag the pop up. The call went from ‘foul’ to ‘out due to interference’.
