Well, you know the saying: “It’s the thought that counts.”
A middle school student in the Chicago area wanted to give his teacher a rose for the end of the school year, which is a really sweet gesture on his part. So, he got her a small one in a plastic cover, and not sure where he purchased it, but I’m thinking it was from a gas station or convenience store in a “shady” area.
Turns out his rose, wasn’t a rose at all. The poor kid didn’t realize it, but it was a red thong that was packaged to look like a rose/flower on the end of a stem.
Fortunately it looks like the teacher took it well . .the student’s face turned as red as the rose….er, thong, and the teacher’s husband thought it was funny and even posted a photo of it online. CLICK HERE to check out the “rose”. Next time, just go with the standard apple.
