I didn't know this, but the cash value of a body part in Indiana isn't the same in Florida, or Texas, or West Virginia. When someone unfortunately loses a leg or a thumb while working, they file a Workman's Comp request/report. Someone had to decide how much to pay that person for the loss of their body part.
