… So far so good, as Slash’s divorce moves forward. His soon to be ex-wife Perla Hudson told TMZ that their on-going divorce proceedings has been “pretty amicable” but added, “there’s no bad blood, at least not yet”. Hmmm…that doesn’t sound good. Of course anytime you involve attorneys, things can start to get ugly. Most attorneys smell blood in the water, like a hungry shark ready to attack.
Strange that Slash didn’t have a prenup drawn up before they tied the knot some 13 years ago. I realize it’s not the most romantic, but it’s Hollywood. They live by a different set of standards and behavior. Not sure what’s Slash’s net worth is, but let’s face it, he’s still getting checks from his time with GNR and certainly with his solo work. Perla told TMZ,
“I don’t know how any of that’s gonna work, but I know he’s gonna do the right thing for me and his children, as I would do the right thing to him.”
The couple has been separated since mid 2014, and it was Slash who filed, citing irreconcilable differences. It appears he’s asking for joint custody of their two sons. And to add a layer to the divorce drama, Slash has moved on, dating Meegan Hodges. But Perla apparently is fine with that commenting,
“I like [Meegan]. I think she’s a nice woman. Everything’s really cool and amicable. [Slash and I] had a really long, lasting, loving relationship for a long time. We’re best friends, we’re business partners, and we just wanna do what’s best for our kids.”
