…Move over AC/DC, and make room for ELO this weekend at the Grammys. Word has it that Jeff Lynne will take the stage with what some are calling “today’s version” of Electric Light Orchestra. Seems that Jeff is warming up to the idea of touring again? Back in 2001, a U.S. tour was in the discussion stage but fell apart. Jeff had been spending most of his time not performing, but producing. He even joked last year saying, “it would be nice to find a way of doing it without going anywhere”, referring to being back on the road touring. But being in front of a live audience does something to you. This could be the fire that reignites Jeff’s passion to perform. If nothing else, he’ll be playing in front of the largest audience of his career, and that of course means introducing new fans to ELO. Cha-ching!
Catch Jeff and ELO as they perform with pop star Ed Sheeran Sunday night at The Grammys.
