…Fleetwood Mac fans were left a little disappointed this past weekend, when the show was cut short about an hour. The band was performing at the Pinnacle Bank Arena in Lincoln, NE, on Saturday night. Unfortunately, something that Mick Fleetwood ate, or possibly a flu bug, got the best of him. Stevie Nicks announced to the crowd that Mick was back stage vomiting. Fleetwood Mac’s drum tech took over and helped them get through “Go Your Own Way” and “Songbird”.
The band updated fans with this statement on their Facebook page. “Last night’s Fleetwood Mac show in Lincoln, Nebraska ended a few songs early when the band’s founder and drummer Mick Fleetwood became ill with the stomach flu. At this time, the band is still scheduled to perform in Grand Rapids, MI on Tuesday.”
