I was born and raised in this wonderful “land-locked” state of Indiana, Lafayette, Indiana to be exact. I grew up with a bizarre fascination with monsters and horror movies. Friday night was spent watching Sammy Terry, Saturday afternoon was spent with the Son of Svengoolie, and Saturday night was reserved for Creature Features, just couldn’t get enough of Frankenstein, Dracula, the Wolfman, the Creature from the Black Lagoon, etc.

It was the summer of 1976 when I was “vaccinated with a phonograph needle” when my buddy put KISS “Alive” on the old turntable and needless to say, I was hooked. Aerosmith, Queen, Led Zeppelin, Styx, Van Halen, and Ted Nugent soon followed and I’ve been jammin’ ever since.

Played football at Lafayette Jefferson High School and Ball State University, and am one of those folks that believe football is life. You can learn more about people and their character when it’s “fourth and one” with the game on the line than in any business or work situation. My wife and I love going to the Colts games and have been season ticket holders since 1991…oh yeah, through the good times and the bad times. And speaking of my wife, Jennifer, she’s put up with me for over 20 years and given me two wonderful children, Gage and Macy. I’m very blessed and thankful for my family, even my “nutcase” dog, Coco.

I’ve been “surfing the airwaves” here in the Indianapolis area for over 20 years, including Friday night football broadcasts, and love “spinning” the Classic Hits for ya here at WJJK.

More About Stu

Hobbies:
Love going to concerts…I would go every night if I could. Love Colts football, boating, surfing, fishing, and laughing…gotta live, laugh, and love.

A “little known fact” about you:
I’m a big fan of reggae music. Always a time and a place for good reggae, and when it’s that time and I’m at that place…life is good

My Perfect Day:
On the beach. Any beach. Any where. Throw in some killer waves, a bucket of cold ones, my family and friends…ahhhhhh!

Dream Job:
A professional surfer, a pirate (like Jack Sparrow), or a “rock star”, always on tour, and Motley Crue’s book, “The Dirt” would have nothing on me.

Is that your real hair color?
Not even close.
