Carole is an 85-Year-Old singer who recently captivated the audience at a Dallas senior living facility with her rendition of “Landslide” by Fleetwood Mac.

Her musical journey began as a backup singer in Elvis impersonator groups in Dallas, eventually forming her band, Psychedelic Oatmeal, which covered classic rock tunes from artists like Stevie Nicks, The Eagles, Janis Joplin, and Led Zeppelin.

We all know the power of music, and Michael Hatcher, the Resident Services Director at The Reserve at North Dallas, stated the power of music in soothing seniors and reconnecting them to their memories and emotions.  Music has the ability to bring seniors out of states of confusion or disorientation, allowing them to reconnect with their past and find joy in the present moment.

• “Find someone you can tolerate, start a family, and you’ll eventually fall in love.”

But there’s a listing on Zillow that lists a home in Colorado that doesn’t show photos, and states:

“DO NOT DISTURB THE OCCUPANTS”.

What?

Supposedly, this house comes with a woman.  Who won’t leave.  If you buy the house, you’re responsible for getting her out!  She refuses to leave!

Talk about a close call!! Watch as AC/DC’s Brian Johnson narrowly escapes getting hit by a CANNON while they were performing in Vegas! As you’ll see in the video below, the cannon was a prop, but it doesn’t appear to be made out of styrofoam! It looks real! Johnson stepped out of the way just as the cannon is tilting forward and falls right beside him! Hells Bells (see what I did right there?), that could have broken his leg! I think the Props Manager may need a crash coarse on ‘Safety 101’~

In this day and age of technology, there are ‘eyes in the sky’ everywhere…watching your every move. Well imagine a police officer dressed up as a giant BUSH, watching to see if you’re a distracted driver! That’s exactly what happened last week in New Jersey, netting 74 distracted drivers in just 6 hours! The fine ranged from $200 to $600, depending upon if they were a repeat offender. THIS idea needs to come to Indiana because 99% of drivers here are constantly distracted while operating a 2 ton vehicle. And don’t give me this bullsh*t that it’s deceptive or should be against the law. Cops should be able to use this tactic to crack down on motorists who are so dumb that they text while driving~

Alright, I’m gonna give this cover band an A+ for creativity in recreating ‘Money’ by Pink Floyd. They had some of the band members use actual coins mixing around in a bowl, a toy cash register, a money counter and paper being ripped. Brilliant!

The album announcement confirmed that Comes in Waves will arrive on August 14. The 12-song collection is Simon’s first album of entirely new material since This Kind of Love was released in 2008.

Peaches appears as the third track on the record, between Maybe I Never Loved You and Love Has No Ending. The song is now available through major digital music platforms.

Simon co-wrote and produced the album with David Spencer. The project also includes contributions from her children, Ben Taylor and Sally Taylor, along with longtime collaborators Paul Samwell-Smith and Frank Filipetti.

Comes in Waves continues a recording career that began more than five decades ago. Simon is widely known for songs including You’re So Vain, Anticipation and Coming Around Again.

During the concert, Styles acknowledged the local audience with a Viva México interlude, creating one of the night’s most memorable moments. The crowd responded with loud cheers throughout the performance, adding to the celebratory atmosphere inside the stadium.

The set featured a mix of fan favorites and polished stage production, while Styles kept the focus on his connection with the audience. His interactions with concertgoers helped give the large-scale show a more personal feel.

Jorja Smith appeared as the supporting act, opening the evening before Styles took the stage. Her performance added another major name to the event and helped set the tone for the night.

The opening concert marked the start of an extended Mexico City stay for Styles. With five more shows scheduled, the residency gives local fans several opportunities to see the singer perform during this latest live chapter.

During the performance, Cave introduced Minogue before the pair sang “Where the Wild Roses Grow,” their dark 1995 duet. The surprise drew an enthusiastic response from the crowd, which numbered about 50,000 people.

The appearance brought the two Australian artists together more than three decades after the song was originally released. Featured on Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds’ album “Murder Ballads,” the track became one of Cave’s best-known collaborations and showed a different side of Minogue’s music at the height of her pop career.

The Brighton concert was Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds’ only scheduled UK performance of 2026. It also served as a major homecoming event for Cave, who lived in the Brighton area for many years.

Minogue’s arrival added a rare collaborative moment to a set that covered several decades of the band’s catalog, including material from its more recent releases.

With Bret Michaels not appearing at the Indiana State Fair next month, Rock-n-Roll fans need some good news. Well how about this: Warrant and Vixen will fill Bret’s slot and perform on the Free Stage at the fair on August 12th!

Of course, fans instantly remember Warrant’s biggest hit from 1990, ‘Cherry Pie’. Sadly, then lead singer, Jani Lane passed away on August 11th 2011. Let’s hope that Warrant honors him on August 12th~
