How Carrie Fisher Will Play A Role In New Star Wars Movie!

Disney knew it wouldn\’t recast Princess Leia in the new movie \”Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker.\” And a digital version of the late Carrie Fisher wouldn\’t do her or the character justice. But director JJ Abrams found another option.

He used leftover footage of Fisher from \”The Force Awakens\” film.  Abrams began writing scenes around the old footage, so Leia\’s dialogue could fit into the movie in different ways. No hologram for the late & great Carrie Fisher. It\’s apparent that the \”Force\” is still with her!  \”The Rise of Skywalker\” hits theaters December 20th.  For a  behind the scenes peek at the making of the new film click here: https://www.cnet.com/news/star-wars-rise-of-skywalker-to-reunite-carrie-fisher-daughter-on-screen/
